Occasions we work with
Weddings, engagements, bridal and baby showers, milestone birthdays, corporate events. If there is a room to fill and a color story to tell, we are interested in helping you tell it.
The main event
Weddings are where organic balloon styling has the most to offer. The ceremony and reception usually sit within an hour of each other (often in the same building) and the decor has to work hard across both. A ceremony arch at the altar becomes a photo opportunity after the vows. A garland behind the head table draws the eye across an enormous reception room. Ceiling clusters warm up a venue that would otherwise feel cavernous.
We work best when we are brought in early. The more we understand about your venue layout — ceiling height, anchor points, the route guests walk between ceremony and reception. The better the installation holds together visually. Most couples book four to six months out, though we have accommodated requests with six weeks' lead time when the date is available.
We cover ceremony arches and backdrops, reception garlands and head-table pieces, ceiling installs over dance floors, cake-table frames, photobooth backdrops, and welcome signs flanked by organic clusters. We can handle one element or the whole venue. That part is up to you.
Other occasions
Bridal showers, engagement parties and baby showers sit in the sweet spot for balloon styling — intimate enough that one well-placed arch or garland transforms the room, but relaxed enough that the host does not need to stress about a complex installation. A half arch over the gift table and a small hoop by the dessert spread takes about two hours to install and photographs beautifully from every angle.
For baby showers we often work with gender-neutral palettes — warm ivory, terracotta and sage read far more current than blue-or-pink, and they work in almost any home or event space. If you have a specific color scheme, we can match it.
A 30th, 40th, 50th or 60th birthday is exactly the kind of occasion that deserves something more considered than a bag of balloons from the party store. We build milestone party installs that complement a party's aesthetic, usually a statement arch or backdrop at the entrance, and a second piece at the focal point of the room (cake table, photo wall, or bar area).
Anniversary parties, retirement celebrations, and quinceañeras all follow a similar logic: one or two hero pieces that set the tone, supported by smaller column or hoop elements that extend the palette through the space. We are happy to discuss any celebration that calls for real decor.
Brand launches, awards nights, client appreciation events and conference receptions increasingly use organic balloon decor as an alternative to traditional florals. The installations photograph well, they can be matched to exact brand colors from Pantone references, and they work at the scale of large event spaces.
We have built installs for product launches where the brief was "match these two HEX values exactly," and for awards ceremonies where the requirement was a 14-foot arch in the company's navy and gold. Corporate bookings typically have stricter setup windows. We confirm your venue's load-in schedule before any date is fixed.
Engagement parties are often the first time a couple gets to celebrate publicly, and they set the tone for everything that follows. A well-designed install — even a single organic garland in the colors you are thinking about for the wedding — gives the party a sense of occasion without overshadowing the main event still to come.
We enjoy engagement party installs because there is usually more creative freedom than with the wedding itself. Clients are still figuring out their palette, and the party is a low-stakes place to experiment. We have had several couples use an engagement party install as a trial run for the color story they eventually used at their wedding.
How it works
Every booking follows the same four steps. The process is designed to be low-stress on your end — most of the logistics happen on ours.
You tell us your date, venue, rough palette and what you are hoping for. We ask the questions that help us design — ceiling height, room layout, whether there are fixed points we cannot use, any vendor restrictions. This takes about 20 minutes over email or a short call.
We come back with a written proposal: specific pieces, sizes, exact color descriptions, and a quote. Nothing is vague at this stage. You will know what you are booking before you commit. We revise the proposal until it reflects what you actually want, at no extra charge.
We arrive at the venue during the setup window agreed with your coordinator, usually two to four hours before guests arrive, depending on the scale of the install. We build everything in place, do a final check with your planner or venue contact, and leave before the event opens.
End-of-event takedown is included in every booking. We return after the event closes, remove all structures and clear the space completely. The venue gets their room back in the condition it was handed over to us. No extra charges, no chasing.
For weddings and large events we recommend booking at least four months out. Popular dates from May through October fill quickly. We can sometimes accommodate shorter lead times — six to eight weeks is usually workable if the date is available and the design is not unusually complex. Get in touch as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
A 30% deposit confirms your date and holds it exclusively for you. The balance is due two weeks before the event. We accept all major cards and bank transfers.
Before we book, we ask you to confirm with your venue that balloon installations are permitted and whether there are any restrictions on ceiling anchoring, glue or confetti. Most venues have standard rules and we are used to working within them. If ceiling hanging is not permitted, all of our ceiling-effect pieces can be achieved with ground-based alternatives.
We bring spare balloons in every color used in your installation. If something gives during the event, your venue coordinator can reach us by phone and we will talk them through any minor touch-up, or return to fix it if it is something structural. We have not yet had an installation fail mid-event, and we build with enough redundancy that a single balloon loss is not visible to guests.
Minor adjustments (shifting a piece to a different location, swapping one color accent) are usually fine up to four weeks before the event. Significant changes to scope or balloon volumes may require a revised quote. We are flexible about this; just contact us as soon as you know something needs to change.
Send us the details and we will put together a proposal. No commitment required, and enquiries are always free.
